What is Graphic Design?
Graphic Design is the use of words and images in their work to display or convey a message. It is found all throughout life, we can find in colors throughout the streets we live in. It can be seen in the simple type, the way it flows and works in our mind. It is a language of living and displays a personal message about life and human behavior.
As seen above is the new MLS logo that came out this year and people can see this in so many different ways, but it really relates to me because of how big a part soccer is in my life. This logo really demonstrates how well graphic design can convey a message. After some research I have figured out that the slanted line demonstrates the speed and energy of soccer, and the three stars stand for the three pillars of the brand. The three pillars are "For Club, For Country, For Community"
