6 Shot Sequence Project

There are obviously six shots in the six shot sequence. They are: extra wide shot which sets the scene for the audience. There is wide shot which is a head to toe shot, medium shot which is hips up of the person, close up which is a video of just the face no more, no less, there is also extra close up which is usually of the hands and what the hands are doing. The final one is an over the shoulder shot which is exactly what it sounds like, a shot over the shoulder, not looking at their face of looking in their ear.

I learned that this is sort of like trial and error, if you don’t really like the video then just go out and shoot it again. I also learned to leave the camera alone when filming and not to touch it. I also learned how to trim videos to make it look as smooth and natural as possible. What I will do next time though is re-film my extra wide shot and wide shot because the extra wide shot was not wide enough and the wide shot was not completely head to toe but that was tough because she was going to jump so I didn’t want to cut off part of her head when she was jumping.
