I think that graphic design is the art of using words and pictures to demonstrate or represent a meaning or product. When people are able to use simple letters or geometric figures to represent an idea. Even if it's not directly related to the idea, it can just represent the product one way or another. It is all around us from street signs to book covers. All of graphic design is important the final product including the font, shapes, and even spacing, along with many other factors. Without graphic design the world would be a much more dangerous place. It also would not be as fun as it could be.
